Remember me?
I was very excited to bring you all some pictures of Glasgow style, I was there last week. But as it turns out that although during term time there is much going on style wise in Glasgow but when I went the holidays had already started and as the students clear out so does the style. So you and I will have to make do with some good old fashioned Berlin Street Style. This will hopefully be spiced up by the fashion set who are set to arrive in this occasionally fair city on the 17th for Berlin Fashion Week!
I am hoping to implement a few changes over the coming weeks so bear with me.

Mode Mueseum Part 1
Schloss Meyenburg gives Berliners a chance to experience some real fashion history. The amazing collection of women's garments date from 1900 up to 1970. My personal favourites are the pieces from the early period, 1900-circa 1930. They are so different from our way of dressing today but you can see how the past continues to shape our pop culture. The feathered cape, for example, would not look out of place in Blair Waldorf's wardrobe.
Unfortunately Schloss Meyenburg is not exactly located in the centre of Berlin, infact it is about 1.5 Hours drive from the city. Still, it is closer than Paris and definitely worth the trip. Just thought I'd give you some advanced warning should you be looking for something to do at the weekend. For details check out http://www.modemuseum-schloss-meyenburg.de/

Dreamandawake
Although the high-street giants clearly have their upsides, I have found that the pieces you truly learn to cherish are not the ones thousands of others may be wearing as well. It is the unique, the gorgeous, the slightly quirky pieces that are so definitely "you". With that in mind I just had to draw your attention to "Dreamandawake",a wonderful brand that refashions vintage clothes into truly unique items. Unfortunately these dresses are not available everywhere, so check out their beautifully crafted website http://www.dreamandawake.com/ for stockist. If you are not lucky enough to live where these dresses are available (like me), keep them in mind and pick up a timeless souvenir of your stay in Paris.
If any of you would like to showcase your dreamandawake-style on LNstyle, just send me your pictures.

This very cute summer dress is by the amazing french design house A.P.C. Kirsten Dunst is one of their biggest fans and lets face it we love Kirsten's style! To check out A.P.C. in Berlin head along to Mulackstrasse. Not only A.P.C. but many of the best Berlin designers are here. Even Stitch Attack is rumoured to open here...keep you posted.

Torstraße...Berlin
How much do I admire this fashion choice? Very much indeed! As Cher (the only Cher I have ever valued) once said:
"I must give her snaps for her courageous fashion efforts!"
Those socks are all kinds of cool. I don't have the legs to pull that look off with flats. Let's be honest, how many women really do? Even Carrie wears hers with heels. If in doubt, wear yours with heels and lots of confidence. That's the best accessory you could ever choose!

As a group these girls look really great and when examined more closely each one has her own variation on the overall style. I admire that. In keeping with this week's theme I have to draw your attention to this particular bag. The dotted fabric makes it so cute. It's the perfect addition to a designer-vintage-highstreet outfit.
